About the Artist

I graduated with my BA (Hon) in Jewellery and Silversmithing at the Glasgow School of Art in 2009. Since then, my design work, which draws on an arsenal of innovative techniques and materials, has earned me the nickname the ʺMaterial Queenʺ. My handcrafted pieces use traditional precious metals, vinyl records, ammunition, gas mask units, resin and even Barbie dolls - in a collection I developed between my native Kristiansand, Norway, and Glasgow, in Scotland. As a freelance Jeweller, I made my name in the award winning design studio Brazen, and designed bespoke pieces for clients. I find inspiration in new and unexpected places inspired frequently through my collaborations with the art collective 85A and a wide arsenal of artists, jewellers and musicians.
